Reports of an active bear in Grant Grove and Wilsonia. The bear came into Wilsonia late Monday night or early Tuesday morning and TIPPED OVER one of the trash dumpsters spilling some of the contents. Please be extra careful to latch the dumpsters. Please keep all food and scented items out of sight around your cabins and in your vehicles. Let’s not give bears any reason to think Wilsonia is a good place to look for people food.

Remember to keep any bright colored items off of the window sills, like bottles of sun screen, dish soap, medications and the like. I like bears and I like to see them around on occasion, but I don’t want a bear to visit for a hand out.
